The Zaangha Day in the Netherlands must have been the smallest fo them all. Only 2 Zaadzsters were present. Not very strange if you think that it was organised just 12 hours before the event around midnight on Sept. 14th.
The conditions and location were wonderfull. A Nomadic Algerian restaurant had created an oasis on the spot where the canals Lauriersgracht and Prinsengracht meet. On the banks of the canal African carpest and pillows were placed, creating a wonderfull atmosphere. The weather cooperated with a late summer sun and temperature around 24 degr. C.
Present were Ilse Mulder and Jan Tetteroo. We discussed spirituality, environment, relations and other personal issues for about 5 hours. It was most enjoyable. The Algerian food was lovely. Eating both from a single plate contributed to an intimate atmosphere.
Around 7.30 we split up at the Central Station, knowing our Zaadz friendship had transformed into a real life one.
